Always Leid Unveils New Fashion Collection: Exotic Escape

Saint George’s, Grenada, July 11 2024 Always Leid, renowned for its quirky, innovative and trend-setting designs, is thrilled to announce the launch of its latest fashion collection, Exotic Escape. Inspired by the vibrant hues and lively essence of island life, this collection draws from the rich colours of chatty macaws, the saturated colours and sweetness of mangoes and the diverse island fauna, celebrating the exuberance and beauty of tropical paradise.

Remaining true to the brand’s easily recognizable aesthetic, Exotic Escape captures the essence of island living through vivid prints, vibrant colours, and intricate patterns that evoke the spirit of the tropics. Each piece is designed to transport the wearer to an island where the air is warm, the scenery is lush, and every day is a celebration of Caribbean culture & nature’s brilliance.

“I wanted to create a collection that not only reflects SOME of the stunning visuals of island life but also embodies the laid-back joy and freedom associated with it,” said Raquel Leid-Charles, founder and creative director of Always Leid. “From the radiant plumage of macaws to the juicy vibrancy of mangoes, every element in this collection is a nod to the captivating charm of the Caribbean islands.”

Key Highlights of Exotic Escape:

  • Tropical Prints: Inspired by the colourful feathers of macaws and the lush foliage of the islands, these prints bring a touch of the exotic to everyday wear.
  • Bold Colors: Bright yellows, rich blues, fiery reds, and deep greens mirror the vivid palette of tropical landscapes.
  • Natural Fabrics: Lightweight, breathable materials such as cotton, linen and chiffon ensure comfort and elegance in warm weather.
  • Versatile Pieces: From flowing maxi dresses and delicate tops to curve-hugging skirts and floaty kimonos, the collection offers versatile options for both casual and sophisticated looks.

To celebrate the launch of Exotic Escape, Always Leid will host an intimate sip & shop event on August 3 2024 at The Spice Nail Spa. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the new collection firsthand, enjoy island-inspired refreshments, and participate in a special live performance by Grenadian artiste Jonathan Francis, known for his Afro-Caribbean rhythm and vibe.

Additionally, a portion of the event’s earnings will support ongoing relief efforts by the Grenada Community Fridge for Carriacou and Petite Martinique following Hurricane Beryl.

The initial collection will debut online at www.alwaysleid.com on July 12, 2024, with details about a second release to be disclosed before the event.
