Applications are now open for an early-career artist based in the Caribbean to undertake an eleven-week, fully funded residency at Gasworks, London, from 6 January to 24 March 2027.

Open to practitioners across the region—including Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Curaçao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Martin, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Sint Maarten, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, and the United States Virgin Islands—the residency offers time and space for research, experimentation, and the development of new work.

Gasworks hosts up to twenty international residencies each year, fostering critical exchange and supporting artists to expand their practice within a global context. The programme is self-directed and process-led, encouraging engagement with London’s cultural landscape while building lasting professional networks.
